Conveyancer
Legal Assistant
Oliver & Co. is looking for an experienced full-time conveyancer to join our team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience in real estate conveyancing. Salary is competitive and will range from $48,000-$60,000 per year based on experience. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow within our firm.
Responsibilities:

Assembling and preparing documents for residential conveyances.

Assisting with commercial acquisitions and sales of both raw land and existing real estate projects.

Preparation of purchase and financing documents for commercial acquisitions.

Correspond with clients, solicitors, conveyancers, mortgage brokers and real estate agents.

Dealing with mortgage payouts, searching title charges, and reviewing contracts.

Preparing statement of adjustments and reconciliations.

Closing transactions including registering with the Land Title Office and PPSA.

Reporting and dealing with holdbacks.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 1 year experience working in real estate conveyancing.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

High attention to detail.

Reliable, responsible, self-motivated, willing to take the initiative, and able to function independently.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both spoken and written.
